Engineer
logs off call as awaiting spares. The AS400 automatically
generates a form, which is given to the parts coordinator
to book out the spares.

If parts are linked to a specific model. The engineer is to print the
diagram and fill in Request part to be linked to spares
and give to parts co-ordinator to send to
ongoingrevenue@nashua.co.za

The Technical Director / Manager must sign
on awaiting spares or parts picked for all parts that have reached their life span.

Should the
Engineer be in the Workshop and require a part, he will
fill in a
Spares Requisition
Form.

If the spare/s
are available it is shipped and invoiced against the
engineers account number. He signs for the spare on
the picking ticket once he receives it and is then
released into his boot stock.

Engineer
goes out to do the call and then logs off the call with
part number of the spare/s that was replaced.

Should the
spare not be in stock it will be ordered overnight if it
is urgent or otherwise ordered with weekly order.

| 8. |
Should the
customer have a C.S.A. and the machine is completely out
of order, a loan unit must be provided as per loan
machine procedure.

Once the
spare/s arrive and are booked into stock the back orders
will be released into the accounts of the Engineers who
are waiting for the specific spare part. Once this is
done the procedure will carry on as explained above.
