CANNIBALIZATIONS

Engineer, W/H Co-ordinator, Manager and
Parts co-ordinator

In the event
that parts are not available and a customer’s machine can no longer operate,
the Engineer will find out from the W/H Co-ordinator if
there is a machine available in the Warehouse that can be
cannibalised.
|
|
The
Warehouse
Requisition Form
is filled in by the Engineer and signed by the Technical
Director or Manager.
|
|
The form is
given to the W/H Co-ordinator and the Engineer
cannibalises the spare part from the machine.
|
|
If we do not
have a m/c to cannibalise from, then a Manager will
organise a loan machine for the customer until the
relevant part can be supplied.
|
|
The Parts Co-ordinator
to order the parts.

Once the
spare part/s arrives it is booked into stock as per stock
receiving procedure.
