1. Newly recruited staff member will first assist in the
workshop for a period of 30 days prior to do any field calls.
The Technical manager will decide on his/her performance for
relevant training if required prior to assist with field calls.
2. Technical Manager registers Engineer on my-Ricoh in order for
them to learn Basics & Models of Machines. Only permanently
employed Engineers will be registered.
3. Engineer is
sent to Nashua Ltd for training. Once it is completed they write
tests on Models and Basics of my-Ricoh. Only permanently
employed Engineers will be send on training.
4. All
results and proof of training can be retrieved on my-Ricoh
program at www.my-Ricoh.com.
5. Engineer gets 3 (three)
chances to write the test, there after the Technical Manager
must reset his name on Get U Wise. The Engineer will be held
responsible for the cost to rewrite the exam on my-Ricoh
6. Technical Manager will then receive e-mail from Nashua
Limited on results of test with training roster.

Technical Manager then book Engineer on available training
courses at Nashua Limited, which is a 5 (five) day hands on
course.
8. Training starts with Basic and then moves from
lowest volume, mid volume then to high volume. The engineer may
decide if he/she wants to be trained on mono or colour once
he/she qualifies for mid volume training.
9. At the end
of the course Engineer write an open book test and get all
relevant paper work.
10. If any of the other staff in the
Service Department or the Workshop Department requires training
to complete their daily tasks, the Technical Manager will
arrange the necessary training.
Once course is completed
and passed at Nashua Limited model of machine is linked to
Engineer No by Service Controller. Engineer then has necessary
qualification to work on specific models that is linked to his
name.
11. Engineers will be liable for all expenses if they decide to
leave the company prior to a minimum of six (6) months after
completion of any training done. Any engineer attended more than
2 training courses within a six (6) months period, will be
liable for all training expenses if the Engineer decide to leave
the company within twelve (12) months.
