MACHINE
REPAIRS IN WORKSHOPS

1. The machine is received in workshop for repairs. This is a machine brought in by either a Technician/Customer or it might be a refurb.
2.
A
Workshop
Machine Checklist must be completed by the relevant person in the workshop
receiving the machine.
3. The person receiving the machine must make sure that a workshop incident is created and attached to the machine for the required repairs.
4. The Repairs process starts:
5. All the covers and units must be removed from the machine for cleaning. When everything is cleaned the covers and units must be re-installed in the machine.
6. All options are then tested for defects.
7. All the relevant parts needed must be listed.
8. The workshop task must be put on hold, awaiting spares with the required parts if needed.
9. All the required parts that were ordered must be replaced on the machine.
10.
All options on
the machine must now be tested and must be working 100% for quality
control.
11.
The Technical
manager will now test all options to make sure that everything is in
working order and that the machine is ready for quality control.
12.
The
Parts coordinator
will also perform a quality control on the machine.
13. Theworkshop task can now be resolved with the parts used. 14. The machine must then be wrapped with all the neccessary paperwork. The machine is ready for re-installation / Installation once it passes the Quality Control inspection.
