When a Sales
Representative or Field Engineer brings back a fax or copier machine that
has been in the field on demonstration, they must make
sure that the machine is first GRN (Goods Receiving Note)
back in to the Warehouse before going through the
workshops.

A workshop
job card is generated by the AS400 and allocated to an
Engineer who then checks and cleans the machine.

If the
machine passes quality control it will get wrapped
together with paper work, the job card will be logged off
and the machine will then get accepted back into the
stores.

Should the
machine not pass quality control, i.e. parts need to be
replaced etc this will be done. Only once this is done
and passed quality control will the machine be wrapped
with paper work, job card logged off with spares and
accepted back into the stores by the W/H Co-ordinator
